DespiteMore the name, it also offers a full menu of breakfast, lunch and dinner items, in addition to a wonderful selection of pastries, sweets, and, of course, gelato. There is even have a selection of wine and beer (in addition to non-alcoholic beverages) and tea, coffee and hot & cold espresso drinks to go along with its paninis, subs, pastas and salads. Menu items are available for take-out or eat-in.  Of course the gelato, displayed front and center just inside the door, is delicious and the selection of flavors is pretty extensive for a boardwalk shop. It is open daily, year-round.

The Outpost Liquor occupies a charmingly retro, shack-like space right across the road from the beach. It's veryMore convenient to the nearby coastal access. Regulars know it by the bear's head on the sign. The front porch sports an ice freezer. Inside, visitors are greeted by an appropriately beach-y rack of flip-flops. Cold bottled beverages are available from the refrigerated display cases. The Outpost also sells packaged liquor, beer and wine. Tobacco products can be had from behind the counter. Fishing bait is available as well.

C'est Si Bon Bakery is a quaint little spot in Newport Beach on Riverside, located in a small strip of stores.More Parking is available in the lot out front, but it can get tricky at busy times mid-day. This cafe has a rustic country French feel and serves typical French bakery fare (baguettes, a variety of pastries, cookies) as well as coffee and tea, cold drinks, sandwiches and salads, making it a great place to stop in for lunch. It even makes its own sandwiches in four-inch size for kids.

It's a great place to go if you're looking to put together your own picnic lunch or wine and cheese spread as, in addition to the selection of baked goods, it sells gourmet items to go, such as cheese, crackers, olives and chips. There are a handful of tables and counters along the window for those who choose to dine in.
