Newport Beach is home to many wealthy people, including owners of private jets. So, coupled with the fact the John Wayne Airport is right up the street, it makes sense that this would be the training ground for employees of said jets. The Corporate School of Etiquette realized this in 2007 and discovered a niche no other specialty school in the U.S. had. It trains students in virtually every aspect of the aviation service industry. Students are educated in subjects such as wine and food pairing, international etiquette and mechanics of service. There are specific courses such as "Introductions and Handshakes," "Knife Skills" and "Speaking With A Caterer And Ordering The Appropriate Food For A Flight."
