This temple serves as a community center for the local Jewish population. The building was renovated in 1999 and is now an enormous, circular architectural art piece. Hundreds of windows let in a maximum amount of light because Rabbi Mark S. Miller believes that "light and spirit are synonymous." The large facility has a Torah Center for students of all ages as well as a wedding chapel, gift shop and outdoor amphitheater where Friday evening Shabbat services are held. In addition to a major center for Jewish secular and nonsecular education, Tample Bat Yahm is a meeting spot for all Jewish services and holidays.
