Pacific Whey Cafe, in the Newport Hills shopping center, is located near the intersection of Ford Road, not far from the 73 freeway. With two other locations around the Newport Beach-Costa Mesa area, this is a favorite spot for locals to grab freshly baked goods or a quick cafe meal. This location is busier at breakfast and lunch (unlike the other two locations, this one does not serve alcohol) and can get crowded during prime hours. There are daily specials listed on the board out front, a rotating selection of soups , and baked goods prepared from scratch daily. The menu includes omelettes, scrambles, and items from the griddle for breakfast (served all day), and lunch items (which begin being offered at 11am) includes panini, soups, salads and burgers. There is a separate menu for kids and seniors and they have a great selection of coffee and tea. Catering information can be found on the website – with at least a day or two of notice, Pacific Whey is a great option to cater a business meeting.
