The Orange County Museum of Art, known as OCMA, has a long and storied history in Orange County. Major exhibitions and galleries have come through since 1918, when the museum was incorporated as the Laguna Beach Art Association. By 1996 under its current name, the association had buildings all over Orange County. It has featured a number of critically acclaimed art including work by Jackson Pollock, Pablo Picasso and Mary Heilmann. In addition to galleries and exhibitions, OCMA has a number of events for children, adults and families. Visit the gift shop for books, artifacts and toys.
