I attended the 100 day seminar and now am working with OPIS in their Peer-to-Peer program. I am a musician and have started my own business selling saxophone reeds. I have found that OPIS has been very helpful in devising strategies, setting goals, determining priorities, and getting me through the confusing stages of starting and growing a business. I came in with ideas and was able to leave with a plan which I am now implementing.
Dave, Mike and Norm have been very forthcoming and gracious, while at the same time holding me accountable to my own wishes and plans. They are expert professionals in business consulting. The current Peer-to-Peer counseling course gives me the opportunity to bring in ideas and get feedback on their implementation. It has also provided me with numerous bonuses for my business. As a first-time business owner I highly recommend this seminar and consultation with people who have done it themselves.

If you are a small business owner, you owe it to yourself and your loved ones to attend a 100 day seminar. During the process, you will take a hard look at the viability of your business as well as the business model. You will be asked to identify your market and/or customers and do some real soul searching as to why your efforts are not yielding the desired results.

The definition of insanity should list a small business owner as its poster child. As a group we only listen to our own ideas, we tend to do the things that we are comfortable doing and avoid at all costs the things that we do not want to do. If you are willing, the 100 day program will get you out of the vicious cycle.

The Opis program helped me re-evaluate how I presented myself and my insurance business. It helped me realize that trying to sell was the wrong approach. As a small business I needed to provide value. One of the most important takeaways for me was to effectively articulate the service that my business provided and to grab the attention of a prospect client to want to hear more.

Again, do yourself a favor and attend the next 100 day program in your area.

I had the great fortune to join the OPIS Network "helping 100 businesses in 100 days" program, which was set up in partnership with the City of Newport Beach. A very dedicated group of professionals guided the participants through in-person and telephone meetings to assist the initiation and development of their businesses.
