Doggy Costume Parade Saturday on Balboa Island

Dogs of all shapes and sizes are invited to a special Halloween-inspired Dog Parade and Costume Party on Balboa Island this weekend.

Hosted by Newport Beach's Charlie & Me and Classic Kids Photography, the free Dog Parade and Costume Party will be held on Saturday, Oct. 26 from 3 to 5 p.m. The Dog Parade will begin at 4:30 p.m. at Classic Kids Photography, 219 Marine Ave., and the procession will make its way up and down Marine Avenue.

The day will also include complimentary mini photo shoots for dogs courtesy of Classic Kids Photography.

Charlie & Me is located at The Cove, 410 West Coast Highway, Suite C. The boutique, which is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., has a variety of dog costumes for sale and can be reached by calling 949-572-5258.
