1. Today from 1 - 3 p.m. at the OASIS Senior Center, Camille Lavington, an international image consultant, will talk about how history influences manners today. The discussion will include tips on how to create better relationships, ways to make great first impressions and give tips on the indirect approach to getting to know a stranger. 2. Don't forget! On Saturday from 9 - 10:30 a.m. Mayor Keith Curry will be mingling with residents at the Balboa Branch Library,100 East Balboa Blvd.
Curry will give a brief overview of what the City Council and staff are working on and then will take questions. Residents and business owners or managers are encouraged to attend.
3. Anyone who donates blood or platelets on Thursday at Hoag Donor Services will receive a free meal from Chick-fil-A.
