A series of blood drives will be held at Angel Stadium to help supply UC Irvine Medical Center with blood for its trauma patients.
The blood drives begin next week and will be held through September. Donors will receive vouchers that can be exchanged at the stadium box office for two tickets to a future Angels game. The Angels have set aside certain sections from which to choose seats. Donors should be able to spend 45 minutes at UC Irvine's bloodmobile on the day of the donation. The bloodmobile will be parked near the stadium ticket office and the giant red Angels caps.
Blood Drive Dates:
- June 12 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- June 14 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- July 7, 18, 24 and 31 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Aug. 11, 15, 21 and 30 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Tuesday, Sept. 4 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
