Wave Check: Tuesday

You're in business if you like it super small!

Good Tuesday morning surfers, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Corona del Mar Patch surf report.  Well, she's looking really tired out there.  Yep, we're looking at another day of decreasing energy!

The conditions are starting off mostly clean, with a mixture of some minor leftover west northwest energy and a small dose of southwesterly swell in the water.

That recipe is providing some racy sectiony lines, with a few workable ones, especially on a log or maybe a fish.  Most spots in the Newpor Beach area are seeing ankle-to knee-high waves, with the top combo breaks pulling thigh-high waves, with a few waist high sets.

At 6:15 a.m the tide dropped to a 0.3 low which will definitely have many spots needing water early on.  The tide then pushes back up to a 3.7 high at 12:13 p.m.

If you're going to get wet, throw on at least a 3/2 full or a 4/3 and possibly the booties, with the water temperature averaging between 56 and 57 degrees.  See ya in the water!
