Waking up with the waves on Monday, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Corona del Mar Patch surf report. Well, the recent storms haven't brought us much in the way of waves. Yep, it's on the small side just about everywhere.
We're seeing fairly clean conditions this morning, with a mix of mostly west-northwest energy and some small southwesterly windswell. That recipe is making for some crumbly broken-up lines with a few decent corners.

At 7:39 a.m the tide climbs way up to a 6.5 high, which will have some spots pretty slow mid morning. The tide then drains out to a negative 1.1 low at 3:02 p.m.
If you're going to get wet, throw on that 4/3 full suit and possibly the booties, with the water temperature averaging between 56 and 57 degrees.

FYI: The County Health Department reports there's a chance for increased bacteria levels in the ocean after any significant rainfall especially near storm drains and river mouths, and they say surfers and swimmers should stay out of the water for at least 72 hours after the last rain.
