View Finder: The South Swell Comes to Corona del Mar

A westerly wind and the south swell brings larger than average waves to CDM.

It's rare that a paddle boarder catches a 100 yard ride...just inside Newport Harbor. But such was the case this week as winds and a south swell whipped up huge waves along the coast of southern California.
