Surfers Monday Prepare for Lower Trestles Competition
The pros and the youth surfers were out in force Monday practicing for the Nike 6.0 Lowers Pro.
The Association of Surfing Professionals Nike 6.0 Lowers Pro and Oakley Pro Junior surf competitions beginning Tuesday and run through Saturday at Lower Trestles/San Onofre State Beach in San Clemente.
The competitions will feature many of the world’s top surfers, including 10-time defending World Champion and current number-one ranked Kelly Slater, as well as the world’s best juniors, including Colin Moran of Newport Harbor High.
