After a surprisingly one-sided loss to rival Corona del Mar a week ago, Newport Harbor bounced back against struggling San Clemente. The Tritons have lost three in a row—all with quarterback Sam Darnold on the bench with a season-ending foot injury.

Score: Newport Harbor 34, San Clemente 13

Key Stats: Newport Harbor’s Quest Truxton returned two interceptions for touchdowns, of 60 and 45 yards, and also caught a 24-yard touchdown pass.
