Football: Corona del Mar 14, Woodbridge 7

It's a tough night at the office for the Sea Kings, who get a stellar defensive performance to make a couple of second quarter scores stand up.

Well, wasn’t that interesting. Heavily favored Corona del Mar struggled  on Friday night, but the Sea Kings stretched their winning streak to 17 games with a victory over Woodbridge at University High.

CdM scored twice in the second quarter and the defense made it stand up as the Sea Kings beat their last legitimate threat in the Pacific Coast League.

Key Stats: Cole Martin rushed for 170 yards and Luke Napolitano passed for 168.

Pivotal Moment: After finally scoring with 1:56 left in the game, Woodbridge attempted an onside kick. Recover it, and the Warriors have a chance to shock the Sea Kings. They didn't, and Corona del Mar continued its domination of the Pacific Coast League.
