Staff members of the Upper Newport Bay Nature Preserve and Ecological Reserve will lead a survey of the flora and fauna of Upper Newport Bay. Volunteer participants will be divided into small survey teams with a leader, then sent to scan regions of the park. Surveyors will emphasize the counting of threatened and endangered species.
