Campers will learn about marine mammals, sharks and fish. They will play ocean themed games, create ocean themed art, and delve into the depths to discover all that is wet and wild under the waves. On a field trip to the Cabrillo Marine Aquarium, campers will crawl into a large aquarium and be surrounded by teeming ocean life. They will embark on a "Mud Walkthrough" and move through a squishy, tactile tunnel to get a worm's eye view of organisms found in ocean mud.
Runs Monday through Thursday from July 11 to July 21. The day can be extended to 3 p.m. with "After Camp."
Open to students entering kindergarten through sixth grade in the fall. Kindergarteners must have turned 5 by June 1.
