Corona del Mar Names New Football Coach
Scott Meyers, who served as head football coach at Long Beach Jordan, takes over the Sea Kings program.
Scott Meyer, a former head football coach at Long Beach Jordan, was introduced as Corona del Mar High's new football coach today, according to this story in the Daily Pilot.
Meyer, who served as defensive coordinator at Long Beach Wilson last season, takes over for Jason Hitchens, who resigned in January after three seasons in order to spend more time with his family.
Meyer spent six seasons at the helm at Jordan and has also served as an assistant coach at Lakewood and at St. Anthony of Long Beach.
