The Second Amendment of the Constitution of the United States guarantees each citizen the right to keep and bear arms. Patriot Training Resources (PTR) is a strong supporter and advocate for the Second Amendment and believes that legally possessing a firearm allows citizens to safeguard themselves, their families and communities.
PTR views concealed carry as a citizen’s absolute right, but with this right comes significant responsibility. Our mission is to provide training in support of the Second Amendment and Responsibly Armed Citizens!

PTR has teamed up with Lt. Colonel Dave Grossman. Lt. Co. Grossman is a former West Point psychology professor, a Pulitzer Prize nominated author, anda former US Army Ranger who has spent a lifetime studying and teaching about the reality of combat. He is ournation’s most successful and respected trainer of military, Special Forces and law enforcement; on the road, almost300 days a year training our nation’s “sheepdogs” a term that he coined in his famous treatise on “e Sheep, theWolf, and the Sheepdog.” Now his dynamic, powerful and inspirational training is available to all citizens as heteaches about the threats to our nation, internal, external and terrorist related, and the role (as intended, under theConstitution) of armed American citizens in answering these threats.
