Creative Writing Class for ages 18+

Do you have a half-finished novel on your computer or great family stories you want to pass down to future generations? Do you have an idea for a children's book? A short story? A screenplay? Now is the time to take your ideas seriously and start writing. The instructor, Dorothy Spirus, is a former magazine editor. She will guide you on your fiction/non-fiction projects or provide an assignment. Open to all levels of experience. You will battle procrastination and foster creativity in this fun, relaxed environment. Stimulating class discussions! This course (#582630) is offered through the City of Newport Beach Recreation Dept. and pre-registration is suggested two business days prior to the start date to ensure enrollment. Register online or at the Recreation Dept. office. Class is held at the Community Youth Center (CYC) in Corona del Mar.
