Update: Power Restored at Corona del Mar High School

Corona del Mar High School was without power and phones Monday, the Newport-Mesa Unified School District reported.

A power outage knocked out power and phones for several hours Monday at Corona del Mar High School, a school district official reported.

Laura Boss, spokeswoman for the Newport-Mesa Unified School District, said the phones were down and the power was out following a power outage that occurred about 1 p.m.

The outage lasted until about 7 p.m. while crews worked on repairs.

Boss said the outage only affected the campus, and was not Southern California Edison related.
