REI's Initiatives for National Public Lands Day in Los Angeles

This Saturday, September 28th, REI will be promoting initiatives throughout the country in celebration of the National Public Lands Day 20th Anniversary, the nation's largest, single-day volunteer effort for public lands.In the L.A. area REI will be promoting a Kayak Clean Up and Bic SUP One Design Challenge. This event will consist of casual paddling, cleaning the bay, and a friendly competition. REI will be providing the paddles, giving out swag and volunteers will also be eligible to win REI prizes.
