Vanessa Bryant Sells Newport Mansion

The Newport Coast estate, which sold for $3.22 million, was reportedly signed over to Vanessa Bryant during a divorce settlement from her NBA superstar husband Kobe Bryant.

Kobe Bryant's wife has reportedly sold one of her Newport Beach mansions, but she still has two left.

Vanessa Bryant listed the Newport Coast mansion in the gated community of Pelican Ridge Estates over the summer for $3.75 million. According to TMZ, Vanessa Bryant recently sold the 6,000 square-foot Mediterranean-style estate for $3.22 million. The Newport Coast estate, which was built in 1999, is where Vanessa Bryant's mother had been living, TMZ reported. Property records show the superstar couple purchased the property in July 2003 for $2.65 million.

You may remember Vanessa Bryant first scored a slam dunk on the Newport Coast estate, plus two others in Newport Beach, last January when Kobe Bryant signed the homes into her name as part of divorce proceedings.

Vanessa Bryant filed for divorce in December 2011 citing irreconcilable differences, and Kobe Bryant was seen staying at the Pelican Hill Resort in the weeks after the papers were filed. The couple -- who did not have a prenup-- don't seem to be working on making their divorce official just yet. On the contrary, the Lakers star and his wife have been seen out together as recently as New Year's Eve and in several pictures on Vanessa Bryant's Instagram.

Along with the Newport estates, Vanessa Bryant was also awarded half of the couple's fortune which was estimated at $150 million.

Vanessa Bryant's recently sold mansion includes five bedrooms, six bathrooms -- one with a fireplace-- a huge master suite, a library, a spa, an outdoor fireplace and barbecue area, balconies, mountain views and much more, according to Redfin.com.
