Who Owes You? State Site Reveals Unclaimed Property

Bank accounts, stocks and bonds, cashier's checks and money orders—you may be eligible for cash and property.

Remember that rebate you filled out a few years ago but never claimed? Or maybe someone left you some money, only you never found out.

A state website helps connect you with your lost property, whether it's a closed bank account, stocks and bonds or your great uncle's collection of bowties.

Run by the Unclaimed Property Division of the State Controller's Office, this website makes it as easy to reclaim lost property as typing in your name.
