Town Hall Meeting Tomorrow in Corona del Mar

The Town Hall meeting will be held Wednesday evening at Sherman Library & Gardens in Corona del Mar.

The annual Town Hall Meeting will be held tomorrow evening at Sherman Library & Gardens in Corona del Mar.

Hosted by the Corona del Mar Residents Association and the Corona del Mar Business Improvement District, the meeting will be held from 5 to 7:30 p.m. The forum gives Corona del Mar residents, businesses and Newport Beach officials the chance to get together and discuss issues and projects that have a direct impact on Corona del Mar.

From 5 to 6 p.m., a Social and Community Expo will be held to provide residents a one-on-one opportunity to talk with city staff and volunteers on a wide range of topics including Library and Recreation Services, Marine Protection and Water Quality, Code Enforcement, Neighborhood Watch, Community Emergency Response Team and more.

A number of local organizations will also be in attendance including the Environmental Nature Center, Irvine Ranch Conservancy, Crystal Cove Alliance, Newport Bay Conservancy, Newport Beach Film Festival and Friends of Oasis.

From 6 to 7:30 p.m., the Speakers’ Program will focus on both residential and business concerns. CdMRA will host a Speakers’ Panel including Mayor Keith Curry, Council Member Nancy Gardner, Chiefs of Fire and Police and City Manager Dave Kiff who will provide updates on topics and projects impacting Corona del Mar residents. There will also be a question and answer portion at the end of the meeting.
