Rohrabacher Closes Local Office in Response to Government Shutdown

The Washington office remains open with a small staff to answer calls from constituents in Orange County.

Rep. Dana Rohrabacher announced that his office in Huntington Beach was closed in response to the federal government shutdown.

"The staff who would normally answer my phones have been furloughed, and my Huntington Beach office is closed," said the Republican Congressman.

"In the meantime, I'm in Washington, D.C., working to see that this situation gets resolved as soon as possible," he said in a statement.

A spokesman for Rohrabacher said two staff members and two interns remain at work in the Washington office to answer calls from constituents. The phone number there is (202) 225-2415. There is also an online contact form.

Rohrabacher represents coastal Orange County, incuding the cities of Seal Beach, Fountain Valley, Newport Beach, Laguna Beach, Aliso Viejo and Laguna Niguel.
