OC Tax Collector Releases List of Delinquent Properties Set to Sell at Auction

Owners have until June 30 to settle their bills before the properties are auctioned off.

Orange County Treasurer-Tax Collector Shari Freidenrich made public a list of properties with five or more years of delinquent taxes and warned Wednesday that they could be auctioned if bills are not settled by June 30.

The properties in arrears are listed at ttc.ocgov.com/proptax/pta/defaulted.

Unless the owners pay up in full or agree to a five-year installment plan, the properties could be auctioned. The property tax bills may include penalties and fees levied before the date of the next tax auction.

Separately, Freidenrich reminded property owners who have moved and not received a bill to file a change of address form with the Office of the Assessor. The form is available online at ocgov.com/octaxbill. Click on "How to," then  "Request a Change of Address."

Details of delinquent property taxes are available online at ocgov.com/octaxbill. An email reminder service is available through the site.
