The public is invited to attend a community celebration at the new Civic Center on Saturday, May 4.

If you have not had the chance to visit the new Civic Center in Newport Beach, you might want to attend the community celebration this week.

The celebration at the Civic Center will be held on Saturday, May 4 from 10 a.m to 1 p.m. The grand opening will begin with a brief dedication ceremony. City officials said visitors can expect an open house, tours of the new buildings, live music, free food samples and more.

Located at 100 Civic Center Drive, Newport Beach City Hall is open Monday through Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
