City Council Candidate Statement: Ed Selich

Councilman Ed Selich is running unopposed for the Newport Beach City Council's District 5 seat.

Editor's note: Patch is publishing one candidate statement each day this week from the three candidates running unopposed for Newport Beach City Council

Statement from Newport Beach City Council Candidate Ed Selich:

I am looking forward to the challenges of another 4 year term on the City Council. Newport Beach is fortunate to have a City Council that, although not always agreeing on everything, has formed a common consensus for the direction Newport Beach residents want the City to go in these challenging times.

A lot has been accomplished during my tenure on the City Council because of great teamwork and camaraderie  between the City Council and City Staff. However, there is still a lot to do. I have been on the City Council for 7 productive years now. I will continue to work hard with my colleagues on the City Council to make the next 4 1/2 years equally productive.
