Newport Residents Urged to Help Conserve Water

Newport Beach currently ranks No. 23 in its division of the National Mayor's Challenge for Water Conservation. If you take a quick survey, you can help the city be the best city when it comes to water conservation.

The National Mayor’s Challenge for Water Conservation, which runs through April 30, is well underway but residents can still make a pledge to conserve water and energy.

Newport Beach is currently ranked #23 in its division, but there is still time to get the city to the top spot. The challenge is free, easy, and brings neighbors in cities across America together to see who can be the most water wise. Participants from winning cities can win hundreds of prizes, including a Toyota Prius Hybrid.

To participate in the competition and help support Newport Beach’s water-wise success, you can make your pledge at mywaterpledge.com by taking a quick, three question survey.
