Three Injured in Two-Car Crash
The crash happened at 3:30 p.m. at the intersection of San Joaquin Hills Road and Newport Coast Drive.
Three people were injured Tuesday afternoon in a head-on collision, according to Newport Beach Fire Deportment spokeswoman Jennifer Schulz.
The crash happened at 3:30 p.m. at the intersection of San Joaquin Hills Road and Newport Coast Drive, Schulz said in a release.
One person was extracted from a vehicle and taken to Western Medical Trauma Center with moderate injuries, the release said. Two others were transported to Hoag Hospital with minor injuries.

Newport Beach firefighters and Newport Beach police units responded to the accident, according to the release.
Police will investigate the accident.
