Thanksgiving Burglar Steals $157K in Jewelry

A Newport Beach home was burglarized on Thanksgiving, and the suspect reportedly stole more than $157,000 worth of jewelry, Corona del Mar Today reported.

The burglary took place on Thursday between 10:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m., at a home in the 1000 block of Tiller Way. About $157,285 worth of jewelry was taken from the house, police told CdM Today.

Jennifer Manzella, police spokeswoman, said the burglar entered the home on Tiller Way through an unlocked garage side door.
