Small Plane Crashes In San Bernardino County After Leaving JWA

Three people were killed in the crash, a FAA spokesman said.

A small plane believed to have departed from John Wayne Airport crashed and burned Sunday afternoon, killing three people on board, according to a Federal Aviation Administration spokesman.

The plane, believed to be a Cessna 210 headed from Orange County to Henderson Executive Airport in Las Vegas, crashed about 2 1/2 miles southeast of Barstow-Daggett Airport in San Bernardino County at about 12:40 p.m., the FAA's Ian Gregor said.
