A burlgar broke into a Newport Beach apartment last week, and stole a Cartier watch, police reported.

The burglary took place at an apartment in the 400 block of Promontory Drive East sometime between Thursday, Oct. 10 and Friday, Oct. 11. According to police, the suspect entered the apartment through an unlocked door on the second story balcony.
