Porn Star Jenna Jameson Will Not Face Battery Charges

Jenna Jameson will not face battery charges for an alleged fight with another woman over the weekend in Newport Beach, the Orange County district attorney's office reported Thursday.

Former porn star Jenna Jameson, who was arrested Saturday in Newport Beach for suspicion of battery, will not face criminal charges, the Orange County district attorney's office reported.

The alleged altercation involving Jameson and another woman took place at about 7:50 p.m. at a home in the 100 block of 36th Street, according to Newport Beach police. The alleged victim put Jameson,38, under citizen’s arrest until police arrived at the scene. Jameson was released from jail on her own recognizance and given a court date, but on Thursday the D.A.'s office said they would not be filing charges against Jameson.

"We declined to file due to insufficient evidence to prove a case beyond a reasonable doubt," Farrah Emami, D.A. spokeswoman, told Patch.
