Patio Furniture Stolen from Newport Backyard

Several pieces of patio furniture were stolen from a Newport Beach backyard last week, police reported.

The grand theft was reported at a home in the 400 block of Morning Star, sometime between Friday at noon and Saturday at 8 a.m. According to police, a suspect went into the backyard through an unlocked side gate and stole two sofas, one table, two lounge chairs, two recliners and a teak wood ottoman.

No other information was available.
