One Injured in Newport Coast Crash

The two-vehicle crash occurred Friday on Newport Coast Drive and Vista Ridge Road. The extent of the victim's injuries was unknown.

One person was injured Friday when a delivery truck and a car collided in Newport Beach, officials reported.

The collision was reported about 1:44 p.m. when a delivery truck and a car slammed into each other on Newport Coast Drive and Vista Ridge Road, according to the Newport Beach Fire Department.

The car’s driver was transported in stable condition to Mission Hospital Regional Medical Center in Mission Viejo. No other injuries were reported.

No other information was available.
