Newport Woman Arrested for Burglary

Patricia Lynn Angulo was arrested Tuesday after a Newport Beach resident allegedly saw her going through a storage shed.

A Newport Beach woman was arrested Tuesday for burglary, a police official reported.

Patricia Lynn Angulo, 54, was arrested at about 9:30 a.m. after a resident in the 200 block of Revere Way called police and said she saw a woman rummaging through her storage shed, according to Kathy Lowe, police spokeswoman.

Angulo left the neighborhood in a white Honda, and responding officers did not find her.

The resident called police back when Angulo returned to the area and after a preliminary investigation, she was arrested by officers.

"Detectives are continuing the investigation to determine if she is responsible for other thefts in the area," Lowe said.

No other information was released.
