Update: Two Men Arrested in Connection With Vehicle Thefts

The arrests were made in the Crystal Cove community. Police are still searching for the owners of several items.

Newport Beach police arrested two men in connection with vehicle burglaries in the Crystal Cove community, police reported.

Kyle Alexander Sells, 19, of Lakewood, and Tyler Steven Fageaux, 18, of Rossmoor, were arrested on Monday about 1:20 a.m. at Reef Point and Sidney Bay drives. Police say the suspects were found to be in possession of stolen property taken from several vehicles within the Crystal Cove community.

Detectives returned almost half of the property to its rightful owners, but are still looking for additional victims who may not have reported being the victim of a theft.
