Local Motorcyclist Killed

Aaron Dobine, 27, of Laguna Niguel, was killed in a motorcycle crash on Monday near the 73 and 405 freeways, according to authorities.

The Orange County Coroner's office has identified the local man who was killed in a motorcycle accident on Monday evening after he crashed into the center median in Corona del Mar, where the 73 and 405 freeways meet, according to authorities.

Aaron Dobine, 27, of Laguna Niguel, was said to be riding at a high speed as he made his way from the southbound 405 to the 73 toll road around 6:30 p.m., according to the coroner's office.

He died at the intersection about 6:35 p.m., after he lost control of the motorcycle, according to the California Highway Patrol. 

CHP also said there were no other injuries or cars involved.

I am truly saddened, I knew Aaron and he was a very nice and likable young man. RIP Aaron.

I knew Aaron when he was a kid, it breaks my heart that his life has been shortened. Riders please respect your machine, the minute you don't, the hearts of other around you will be broken too.
