I drove past a motorcyclist crash yesterday about 4:15pm but it wasn't near the 7th St. exit, were there 2 motorcyclists hurt or killed yesterday in this same area? The accident I drove by was 405NB / 22 WB maybe 200yards N&W of the 2 freeways merging, still about a 1/2-3/4 of a mi S & E of the Seal Beach Blvd. exit. So, I'm confused as to why the freeway is being shut down at the 7th St. exit>??

Hi Emily/ Unfortunately, there were two motorcycle wrecks in the area yesterday. I don't have too many details, but here is the patch story we ran: http://losalamitos.patch.com/articles/a-fatal-motorcycle-crash-and-a-hit-and-run-trigger-sigalerts

Drove by this about a minute after it happened. People were there trying to help, no first responders yet. A gentleman was trying to block his face with a binder from passing cars as he waved them by. Very sad.
