UPDATED: Disneyland Employee Falls from Matterhorn Ride

Luckily, the employee only sustained minor injuries. The ride has been reopened.

A Disneyland employee was taken today to an area hospital with apparent minor injuries from a fall at the Matterhorn ride, police said.

The accident happened about 10 a.m. at the theme park, Anaheim police Lt. Bob Dunn said.

The employee was working at a loading dock when she fell, Disneyland spokeswoman Betsy Sanchez said.

The ride was temporarily closed, but was back in operation as of 12:50 p.m., Sanchez said.
