'Dateline NBC' Tackles Ex-Linebacker's Murder of Newport Millionaire
On Friday at 10 p.m., the newsmagazine will highlight the 1994 murder of Bill McLaughlin.
The story of a former professional football player for financial gain in the killing of his lover’s boyfriend, a millionaire who lived in Newport Beach, will be recounted on Dateline NBC this week, according to a report in OC Weekly .
Eric Andrew Naposki, 44, is scheduled to be sentenced on May 18 along with his accomplice/ex-girlfriend , 46, who was found guilty in January of participating in .
The pair face life in prison without the possibility of parole.
