Coroner IDs Body Found Under Bridge
The body of 28-year-old Nancy Hammour was found Monday morning lying face down under the Bay Bridge in Newport Beach.

The woman found dead under the Bay Bridge in Newport Beach on Labor Day was identified Tuesday by the Coroner's Division of the Orange County Sheriff's Department as 28-year-old Nancy Hammour. Hammour's city of residence is unknown, said Orange County sheriff's Lt. Jeff Hallock.

Newport Beach police were called about 8:45 a.m. Monday about a woman lying face down under the Bay Bridge near East Coast Highway and Bayside Drive, said Jennifer Manzella of the Newport Beach Police Department. Hammour was pronounced dead at the scene.
An autopsy on Hammour's body will be performed either Wednesday or Thursday, Hallock said.
Manzella said she could not comment on reports that Hammour suffered a gunshot wound.
