· Don’t leave valuables in your vehicle. If you cannot take them with you, conceal them from view prior to arriving at your destination.

· When parking outside of your garage, treat your garage door opener as if it were a key to your home and remove it from your vehicle.

· If your vehicle has an alarm always activate it!

· Always park your vehicle in a well-lit area.

If you see suspicious activity or you are a victim of crime, call the Newport Beach Police Department immediately at 949-644-3717.
