Burglars Ransack Unlocked Newport Homes

Burglars enter three unlocked homes in the Bayridge Park community in Newport Beach.

Two homes in the Bayridge Park community were burglarized and ransacked this week, in the same complex where another house was broken into last month, Newport Beach police reported.

The burglaries took place at two unlocked homes on Woodburne on Tuesday between noon and 2 p.m.  Another home on Bradbury was burglarized on July 18. The suspect went into the first Woodburne home through an unlocked door and ransacked different parts of the house. After exiting through an upstairs bathroom window, police said the burglar walked across a small ledge that connects to the neighboring house.

Police said that house was burglarized and ransacked after the burglar entered through an unlocked bathroom window.
