Bacteria Warning Issued at Little Corona Beach

Bacteria levels currently exceed health standards at Little Corona Beach.

County health officials are warning swimmers to stay out of the water in Corona del Mar until further notice due to bacteria levels.

At about 1:30 p.m., the Orange County Health Care Agency’s Ocean Water Protection Program posted warning signs at Little Corona Beach. According to health officials, the bacteria levels exceed health standards and contact with the water may cause illness.
