ATM Stolen from 76 Gas Station

An ATM machine was stolen from a Corona del Mar gas station over the weekend. It was later found empty a few miles away.

An ATM machine was stolen from the 76 gas station in Corona del Mar over the weekend, according to a report in Corona del Mar Today.

The burglary happened between 10 p.m. Saturday and 6 a.m. at the gas station located at 2201 E. Coast Highway, CDM Today reported. Police said the ATM had $4,000 inside of it. It was later found in a Quail Street parking lot, but the cash was gone, according to the newspaper.

Jennifer Manzella, police spokeswoman told CDM Today the suspects cut a hole in vented section of a garage door, went into the business and shut off the power.
