Air Compressor Stolen from Garage

A man recently stole an air compressor from a Newport Beach garage that was left open, police reported.

The burglary was reported just before 7 p.m. on Aug. 23 at a home in the 200 block of Prospect. According to police, the man went into the garage that was partially open and stole an air compressor.

A witness told police the man was about 5 feet, 10 inches tall, about 180 pounds, with short black hair. He was wearing a white T-shrt and blue jeans and fled in a full-size, white pickup truck with a black construction type rack in the bed of the truck.
