$75K in Jewelry Stolen from Newport Home

The jewelry was stolen from a home on Gorham Drive on Thursday night, police reported.

Jewelry worth $75,000 was stolen from a home in Newport Beach on Thursday night, police reported.

The home burglary took place sometime between 6:10 and 11:15 p.m. at a home in the 4500 block of Gorham Drive. According to police, the suspect pried open a rear sliding glass door which led into the master bedroom of the home.

Police said the jewelry was stolen from a closet.
